A Centralized Digital View of the Building

MLT’s building management solutions bring building infrastructure into a centralized digital monitoring environment.

Climate, air quality, energy, water, equipment and safety parameters are monitored and managed from one place, built on the iSenzoT IoT platform.

What Can Be Monitored

Monitor and manage parameters such as:

Building parameters
TemperatureZones, floors & rooms
HumidityComfort & condensation risk
Air QualityCO2, particulates & VOCs
Energy ConsumptionBy floor, feeder & system
Water ConsumptionUsage & possible leaks
Equipment StatusChillers, pumps, DG sets & lifts
Environmental ConditionsLight, noise & occupancy
Safety-Related ParametersSmoke, gas, leaks & exits

Temperature & Humidity

Zone-level climate data shows which areas are too warm, too humid or off setpoint, so HVAC issues can be addressed before occupants complain.

Temperature and humidity: one zone running warm and humid, visible from the plant room

Air Quality & Environmental Conditions

CO2, particulates, VOCs, noise and other environmental readings can be tracked continuously and shared openly, for example on a lobby display.

Air quality and environment: live indoor readings shared with occupants and visitors

Energy & Water Consumption

Consumption broken down by floor, system and time of day helps identify after-hours energy use and unusual water consumption that may indicate a leak.

Facility head and sustainability officer reviewing a laptop showing energy by floor, water consumption by floor, an insight that one floor uses much more water than average and a possible leak, and the share of after-hours energy
Energy and water: a floor-level view that highlights a possible leak and after-hours energy use

Equipment Status

Chillers, pumps, generator sets, lifts and fire pumps can report running, standby and fault status with run hours, so a tripped pump or faulty lift is seen immediately.

Safety-Related Parameters

Smoke, gas, water-leak, fire-pump pressure and emergency-exit status can be shown on the same screen used by security and facility teams, so the right people respond quickly.

A Digital Operational View, Not Isolated Systems

The objective is to create a digital operational view of the building rather than isolated monitoring systems.

Isometric before and after: on the left, HVAC, fire panel, energy meters, water meters, lifts and air quality as isolated boxes each with its own person; on the right, the same systems connected into one digital operational view watched by one operator

Isolated monitoring systems
  1. Each system has its own panel or screen
  2. Issues found by walking the building
  3. No combined picture of performance
Digital operational view
  1. All parameters in one centralized environment
  2. Alerts as soon as conditions change
  3. History and trends for the whole building
